I was talking to my sister on Friday about my blog below on how to get free rides on Dublin Bus using the pre-paid tickets. While this particular point was new to her, she was familiar with the tickets.
Her suggestion was to watch out for any future Dublin Bus price rises, and to then buy these pre-paid tickets in larger bulk than normal. Apparently, Dublin Bus keep selling the pre-printed tickets until they run out – even if the actual fares have risen. So, you could be on your new €1.65 fare journey, but paying with your €1.60 pre-paid ticket.
Small change alright, but it’s your money, not theirs. And it all adds up.
